It’s a song of strength and weakness, confidence and confusion, the overall unsure and unstable nature of someone going through immense unavoidable change in their life. Sometimes it’s necessary to “give it all away”, whether it is useless material possessions or a metaphor for pain and worry, sometimes we all need to let go of once important things that now hold us back.
