Ulysses Episode 9: Scylla and Charybdis
While this may seem like a very dull and confusing episode, it is actually packed with Joyce's wit. We get a BIG clue about what is going on and where we are headed. Think about this: We have a bunch of intellectuals in a library talking about some obscure reference to Shakespeare. How fun is that? Once you you can "feel" what Joyce is telling us, that seemingly dull setting blooms into something fascinating. I hope this video enhances your enjoyment of the book. Truly this is one of the most interesting chapters if you allow yourself to play in the playground of the mind that Joyce gives us. I appreciate you all very much and thank you for your comments.
