New Eastonmade Splitter, Pickup, Setup & First Real Job!

After months of waiting, the day finally arrived—I picked up my brand-new Eastonmade wood splitter from Harco Equipment & Rental! In this video, you'll come along for the pickup, see the delivery process, and watch us put the splitter to work for the very first time. A huge thank you to Liam at ‪@harcoequipment‬ for making the pickup process smooth and for providing outstanding customer service. I really appreciate all of your help throughout the process! Joining me is Andrei from ‪@JackofHaulTrades‬ and we wasted no time putting the splitter through a real-world test. We tackled everything from easy straight-grain logs to some of the toughest wood you can split, including sweetgum and elm packed with stubborn knots. You'll see how the splitter performs on oversized logs, how the log lift helps reduce heavy lifting, and my honest first impressions after spending a full day behind the controls. As with any new machine, there's definitely a learning curve, but by the end of the day we had a much better feel for how to get the most out of it.
