Balian: A beginner and intermediate surfer's heaven in Bali

Bailian is in Western Bali, about an hour drive from Canggu. Unlike Canggu, Balian is quieter, much greener, and not full of tourist crowds in and out of the water. The wave is consistent and an easy paddle out. The take off is easy and there is a channel to paddle out. The wave is a right and left, and the break is spread out allowing many take off spots and sections to ride. There is beachfront lodging with a pool and restaurant and more affordable accommodations nearby for those on a tighter budget. If you want to experience "Old Bali" undisturbed by development and tourism, Balian is a great option to consider. Filmed on May 21 2022. from 9am until noon. The swell was moderate 3 - 4 ft swell.
