Güterzugverkehr am Rangierbahnhof München-Nord Teil 2: Mit Baureihe 139 "Kastenbrot"
A nasty rainy day at the north marshaling yard: The station, which is located in the districts of Moosach and Feldmoching-Hasenbergl, was put into operation in 1991 and is one of the most modern marshaling yards in Germany. It replaced the former Munich East Rbf and Munich-Laim Rbf marshaling yards. The station consists of five track groups with a total of 40 directional tracks. Trains can leave the southern directional group directly, trains from the other four groups must first be brought forward to the exit group. The uphill and downhill brakes are beam track brakes, the directional tracks are equipped with rubber track brakes. Directly behind these are the clearance zone from which the cars are pushed by small trolleys. On several bridges over the station you have a good view of the action: A lot of shunting, but also through and exit traffic can be found! A class 290 688 - 1 is working tirelessly and pushes freight cars by freight cars down the roll-off hill. For a wagon train, the diesel locomotive needs between eight and nine minutes (shortened to about half in this video). Locomotives included in this video: Class 193 332 - 3 / Class 193 double traction solo ÖBB-Taurus class 1116 129 - 8 with mixed freight train + class 193 795 - 1 MRCE MERCITALIA / class 193 325 - 9 DB with pocket wagon Series 290 688 - 1 shunting scrap train Series Class 077 014- 4 solo, coupled to tank cars Class 290 688 - 1 DB shunting mixed freight train Class 077 014- 4 with tank car + Class 193 354 Series 290 688 - 1 shunts above the unwinding hill Series 139 311 - 5 Locomotion "tin loaf" with steel train class 193 DB / class 193 MERCITALIA Rail with pocket wagon (KLV) + class 290 688 - 1 DB solo Series 285 104 - 2 solo and back class 290 688 - 1 DB shunts mixed freight train + class 1116 ÖBB with tank wagon Series 193 European Locomotive Leasing with tank car Series 185 078 - 3 DB solo Series 285 104 - 2 with construction train Class 187 348 - 8 Railpool with empty car train Series G 2000BB Vossloh solo Series 152 068 - 3 DB solo Series 187 173 - 0 DB with car carriages Series 185 078 - 3 DB solo Series 185 263 - 8 DB with steel train Class 294 DB with a scrap train Series 290 688 - 1 DB shunting steel train Series Class 077 040 - 9 solo coupled to tank cars Class 193 with mixed freight train Series 185 DB solo Class 185 DB with empty coal train Series Class 077 040 - 9 with tank car Recorded on October 16, 2020.
