6 doctors share their advice to F1 doctors starting work | Dr Sarah Nicholls

I wanted to make this video to gather some tips and tricks for all the new foundation year one (F1/FY1) doctors out there. Starting work as a doctor is huge and scary and exciting and it has probably been one of the biggest transitions of my whole life. I wish I’d seen a video like this last year, so I wanted to make it to help you guys out. I know everyone has their own experience, so I decided to ask some of my colleagues about the things they’ve learnt in the year they’ve spent working as an F1 doctor. I asked them all the same question: “If you could go back in time by one year and give yourself some advice for starting work as a doctor, what advice would you give yourself?” I hope this video is useful to you and please feel free to share it with anyone you know who might find these tips helpful.
