El asedio y caída de Numancia | Guerras Celtíberas 133 AC

The Siege of Numantia was the final and most dramatic episode of the Celtiberian Wars, fought between the Roman Republic and the Arevaci city of Numantia, located in the northern plateau of Hispania. The conflict culminated in 133 BC, when the Roman army, led by Publius Cornelius Scipio Aemilianus, subdued the city through a complete siege based on starvation and isolation. Despite having only a few thousand defenders, Numantia resisted for years against vastly superior consular armies, becoming a symbol of resistance against Roman imperial power. #Numancia #AncientRome Subscribe to the Mailing List: https://forgottenheroes.es/lista-de-c...
