In his remarks, Prabowo emphasized that this flagship government program must truly reach the public, especially children and pregnant women, without any misuse. Prabowo warned of the potential for individuals to profit from the MBG program. Therefore, he requested that all regional heads, from governors, regents, sub-district heads, village heads, to members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri), participate in monitoring all MBG kitchens in their respective regions. In his characteristic style, interspersed with humor, Prabowo also touched on the practice of reducing food portions, from chicken being cut too small to egg dishes, which are considered to have the potential to reduce nutritional value if not served properly. He stated that the quality of food for children must be a priority because it directly relates to the future of Indonesia's future generations. The President even invited the public to report suspected irregularities directly, including through social media, so that the government can immediately take action. He emphasized that the Free Nutritious Meals Program is a major investment in developing Indonesia's human resources towards a Golden Indonesia.
