Iron the following fabrics: Outer fabric Lining fabric Press-on fabric 2. Print the pattern. Attach the pattern pieces together with cellophane tape. 3. Cut the pattern along the seam allowance. 4. Place the following pattern pieces on the wrong side of the fabric and secure them in place with basting pins. ・Outer fabric ・Lining fabric ・Bottom fabric ・Quilt batting Trim the fabric along the outer seam allowance line. 5. Place the outer and lining fabrics right sides together and sew a straight stitch along the finished line on one side with a sewing machine. 6. Remove the pattern from the outer and lining fabrics. 7. Prepare about 50cm of hemp string for turning the fabric inside out and sew it to the edge seam allowance of the outer and lining fabrics. 8. Hook the hemp string through the string guide and turn the outer and lining fabrics right sides out. 9. Remove the hemp string with a seam ripper and discard. 8. Cut a length of hemp string about 3-5mm long, 20cm longer than the length of the outer and lining fabrics. 9. Remove the pattern from the quilt batting. Place the quilting batting 10cm from the end of the linen string and wrap it around. Sew both ends and the middle together with the linen string using a straight stitch on the sewing machine. 10 Tie the linen string to the stringing hole and pass the linen string and quilting batting through the outer and lining fabrics. If the quilting batting gets stuck and won't go through, use the tip of a pen or something similar to push it out as you go. Once threaded, remove the linen string from the stringing hole. 11 Fold the quilting fabric inward in four, iron, and remove the pattern. 12 Cut the linen string to the length of the quilting fabric plus 20cm. 13 Place the quilting fabric 10cm from the end of the linen string and secure with a clip. Do this on both ends. 14 Sew approximately 2mm from the edge of the quilting fabric using a straight stitch on the sewing machine. 15 Sew 1-2mm from the edge of the folded quilting fabric using a straight stitch on the sewing machine. 16 With the outer fabric facing up, fold the outer and lining fabrics in half, then fold the pot fabric in half and sandwich it between the two, securing with clips. Sew the pot fabric and lining fabric together by hand.
