Motoman robot in CNC machining application

This video shows a MOTOMAN ES165D robot from YASKAWA in an CNC machining cell that was developed by Gizelis Robotics in Greece. The robot is equipped with a spindle, automatic tool changer, lubrication and is completely programmed from Delcam's Powermill software. The robot communicates with a PC and loads all program information, which gives it unlimited memory. The material shown in the video is steel but the cell can be used for machining a variety of materials, like marble, stone etc. If additional axes are added the robot can machine very large parts and be introduced in new fields of application.
