How To Tie Down A Sportbike Or Scooter!
The best way to secure motorcycles with full fairing and no typical attachment points for tiedowns. This method only requires 2 ratchet straps or cam lock tie downs and is very simple. In this video we demonstrate on a 1998 Honda CBR600 sport / street bike and a 1983 Honda Aero 50 scooter. We are working in the back of my pickup truck, but the same technique can be applied to hauling bikes in a trailer, toy hauler or van. Specialty products like the Canyon Dancer bar harness secure bikes in a similar way, but I prefer my method because it doesn't require any special equipment.
