Searching for Water in Ethiopia: A Day in the Life | UNICEFUSA
Thirteen-year-old Aysha spends about eight hours fetching water every day in Ethiopia, where she lives. In fact, 2.1 billion people have no safe drinking water and 4.5 billion have no access to adequate sanitation. Over the last three years, we helped over 100 million people gain access to water, sanitation and hygiene and will continue working tirelessly to protect the future of every child. Water should not be a privilege. It’s a right. UNICEF would not be able to provide support to children in need without donations from people like you.
