Amada Colossos Resort, Rhodes — Honest Review 🇬🇷 (Family Room with Swim-Out)

Our honest review of Amada Colossos Resort in Rhodes, Greece 🇬🇷 We stayed in a Family Room with swim-out access — here's what we loved, and what genuinely disappointed us. THE ROOM ⭐ The family room with swim-out was great — spacious and comfortable, and having the pool right there is a real plus. One big caveat: the view from our terrace was blocked by a large hedge. Some guests will love the extra privacy. We didn't. THE FOOD 🍕 The Italian à la carte restaurant was the highlight of the whole stay — outstanding food and genuinely friendly service. The main buffet had a huge selection and good quality, but the offering repeats a lot day to day. That's buffets for you, but worth knowing if you're staying a full week. SUN BEDS 🌞 Plenty of free sun beds on the beach most days. At the main pool it's a different story — get there late in the morning and you'll struggle. THE WATERPARK — OUR BIGGEST GRIPE 🌊 This is where we have to be honest. The waterpark is open 10:30–17:00, but only a few slides are open at a time on a rotating schedule (blue slides 11:00–13:00, green & orange 13:00–14:30, green 14:30–15:30, space bowl 15:30–17:00). You can never just go and use them all. This isn't made clear when you book, and for a resort marketed on its waterpark it's a real letdown.
