Trams in Western Japan: Nagasaki, Hiroshima & Okayama

Join Beary, Sis-B Bear, and Grandpa Bear on a tram-filled journey through Western Japan, visiting Nagasaki, Hiroshima, and Okayama. Starting in Nagasaki, Beary films trams around the city, explores quieter suburban spots, enjoys Nagasaki champon, and shares a few of his famous facts about the city’s history, international connections, Chinatown, and places of remembrance. The journey then continues to Hiroshima, where Beary and Grandpa Bear film colorful trams, visit riverside bridges, travel toward Miyajima by tram, and discover a city that is both deeply historical and modern, bright, and energetic. There are also views of Hiroshima’s famous tram network, Peace Memorial sites, gardens, bridges, and evening city scenes. Finally, the bears arrive in Okayama, where they film the local tram network, spot the Kuro tram, talk about Momotaro the Peach Boy, Okayama’s sunny reputation, Crow Castle, and enjoy a meal of barazushi before one last evening of tram filming. As always, there are plenty of trains, trams, bridges, little jokes, famous facts, and probably too much talk about ice cream.
