On September 6, 2018, niko and ..., a lifestyle brand developed by Adastria Co., Ltd., released the encounter movie "Kakeru," starring brand ambassadors Masaki Suda and Nana Komatsu. The song continues from the previous work, "Anniversary" by Ukaskazy. Additionally, multiple TV commercials, including versions featuring Suda and Komatsu, began airing on the same day. Takagi (Suda), a budding manga author, and Haruno (Komatsu), a similarly budding manga artist, are featured. During their first meeting, Takagi senses that Haruno's drawings do not come from her heart, and takes a surprising action to bring out Haruno's true potential. By opening up to each other and stimulating each other's talents, the two create the ultimate manga, full of passion. The title of this encounter movie, "Kakeru," comes from the various "kakeru" scenes: Takagi "writes" the original story, Haruno "draws" the manga, the brush "runs," the manga's protagonist "flies," and the multiplication of Takagi and Haruno's completely different personalities.
