I Got SMILE Eye Surgery | A Video All About my Experience with Laser Eye Surgery!

I got SMILE laser eye surgery and documented the entire process! This video shows my SMILE eye surgery experience. Prior to getting the SMILE eye surgery, I did a lot of research and felt very torn about whether I wanted to get LASIK or SMILE surgery. A huge part of my research was watching YouTube videos that people had made talking through their own experiences. This really helped me learn about the pros and cons of each and what to expect for the procedure and the healing process. Since those videos were so helpful for me, I wanted to create my own video to hopefully help others in the future! In this video there are several different clips. At the beginning there's a clip from the night before my surgery where I actually hadn't decided yet if I wanted to get the LASIK or SMILE procedure. In this clip I discuss the pros and cons of each and explain my overall thought process heading into the surgery. Then there are several clips from surgery day - one before and a few after. Then there are updates from day 2, day 3, day 4, one week after the surgery, and one month after the surgery. In the final one month update, I give a more detailed description of the actual procedure itself. I am SO happy that I went through with getting this laser eye surgery. I am not a medical professional so please don't take anything in this video as actual medical advice. I just wanted to share my own personal experience and my thoughts throughout the entire process.
