Behringer Pro VS Mini / Uno Synth / Microbrute Synthwave Electronica

I feel like this one is really fun! It's sort of a Synthwave Electronica track. I had a blast putting it together. The Behringer Pro VS Mini is a lot of fun to design sounds for. Here, it's a huge shimmery pad sound, enhanced with reverb from Native Instruments Raum and Chorus from Baby Audio Magic Switch. The pluck sound is from the IK Multimedia Uno Synth. It's a cool analog synth with a pretty simple interface. I think this sound may have been one of the factory patches, but it's also pretty fun to design for. The bass is from the Arturia Microbrute and I'm shifting the envelope release time and cutoff frequency in order to create some variation between the sustained bass notes and the faster parts. It's fun getting multiple sounds out of a single simple monosynth, but it can be tricky to remember when to make the changes! Shout out to ‪@CatenationIndustrial‬ for her recently-released Crematory Machinery sample pack, which was sampled in a crematory in Switzerland! I'm using it here to enhance the drum loop with some texture and provide some additional groove. There's lots more to explore in this pack, and I'm looking forward to digging in.
