The Old School Tune-Up: The first place to start if your engine is running rough

I get questions all the time about engines that are running rough or just not operating at the level their owners believe they should. My response to these questions is always the same questions: "When was the last time you did a tune-up?" This question is usually met with a significant amount of hemming and hawing. Well today we are going over what a nice simple tune-up should look like. We will remove and clean the throttle body as well as install some new spark plugs. The vehicle in the video is a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7L, but this process will be the same for most fuel injected vehicles. Want to support D&E?
