Costa Rica, San Vito - Biodiverse Mountains With Incredible Birding
A little video to remember our trip. After traveling through Panama for nearly two months we crossed the border to Costa Rica. We spent the first two weeks in San Vito as the mountain town is known for some good birding. The days passed by quickly while we spent our time hiking, river bathing, and birding. We spotted many new species of birds as well as a new mammal - the coati (nesebjørn). We highly recommend staying with Dodie and William. They were wonderful hosts, and their home is surrounded by bird feeders that attract a variety of wildlife! https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/29096071... 00:00 Intro 00:30 Arriving in San Vito 01:34 Wilson Botanical Gardens 02:43 Nocturnal tropical frog 03:20 Toucans mating 03:56 Coati 04:25 Motmot 05:44 Finca Cantaros 07:48 Mountain hike Remember to adjust the video quality to 1080p HD All of our best video footage will be saved for our upcoming nature documentary which will be released on @better.than.television later this year #birding #birdphotography #wildlife
