GTA Vice City | DBP Security
Bar Brawl – Claiming Authority in Vice City The “Bar Brawl” mission happens when Tommy stops acting like a hired muscle and starts enforcing his own rules. Taking Control of Protection After purchasing the Malibu Club, Tommy officially becomes a business owner. In Vice City, businesses survive by paying protection—but Tommy isn’t interested in paying anyone. He expects others to answer to him. The Front Page Cafe Problem The Front Page Cafe in Ocean Beach refuses to cooperate. Instead, the owners rely on DBP Security, a rival protection firm. Their guards openly occupy the bar, signaling that Tommy has no authority there. Making a Statement With advice from Ken Rosenberg, Tommy realizes diplomacy won’t work. To establish dominance, he must remove DBP Security entirely. Mission Focus Deal with DBP Security guards at the bar Disable their security vehicles Ensure no resistance remains This mission proves that protection in Vice City only works if you can back it up. Cannon Fodder – Pride Sparks a Gang War The “Cannon Fodder” mission begins as a matter of pride and escalates into open conflict. The Stolen Shipment The Haitians seize a van carrying valuable merchandise from the Cubans. For Umberto Robina, this isn’t just theft—it’s an insult he cannot ignore. Escalation Knowing his crew alone won’t be enough, Umberto recruits Tommy to lead the attack and restore Cuban dominance. Assault on Little Haiti The mission becomes a direct confrontation: Mission Objectives Secure a suitable vehicle for the Cuban crew Lead the assault on the Haitian warehouse Remove a rooftop marksman blocking progress Recover the stolen van and escape under pressure This mission officially turns tension into all-out gang warfare. Naval Engagement – Cutting Off the Supply After Cannon Fodder, Umberto goes on the offensive. The “Naval Engagement” mission targets the Haitian drug trade directly. The Tip-Off Umberto learns about a large exchange between the Haitians and the Sharks taking place near Starfish Island. The Plan Rather than choosing sides, the Cubans decide to remove everyone involved and take the shipment for themselves. Mission Goals Interrupt the exchange Secure the briefcases containing cash and merchandise Eliminate all opposition This strike weakens two rival groups at once and strengthens Cuban control in Vice City. Cop Land – Erasing the Evidence The “Cop Land” mission happens because a business intimidation plan goes wrong—and attracts too much attention. The Failed Explosion A previous attempt to damage a North Point Mall café fails, leaving law enforcement investigating the scene. The Risk Tommy and Lance Vance realize that if authorities uncover the device or forensic evidence, it could expose their entire operation. Going Undercover The mall is sealed off, forcing Tommy and Lance to take a risky approach—entering disguised as police officers. Mission Breakdown Draw officers into a controlled location Take their uniforms and vehicle Enter the mall unnoticed Complete the job and escape Once the plan succeeds, the disguise collapses, triggering a high-intensity escape back to the Vercetti Estate.
