Have a lovely day! dear friend, so nice to chat with you for a bit tonight (before i go and crash after a long day of travel (again)) this summer i've just been popping all over the place, more and more behind on vlogs and editing with each trip. of course i am so grateful for these memories, and i happily edit all my vlogs knowing that it's worth the late nights and the long hours. yesterday morning, we caught the red-eye back home to california, and I didn't end up sleeping the previous night just from wanting to get the vlog done. well, I didn't end up publishing that night like I planned, but staying up allowed me to export the file and get it up tonight at least. it's getting late over here in california, too, and i can't wait to wash my super dirty hair and wash the airport-feels off.. and just sleep. and not worry. i tend to worry a lot, think a lot, worry too much, think too much i just need some peace and appreciation for the pure gift of existence, for the blessings that are considered basic rights like our health and our youth. it's always fleeting yes, and no, i don't know what is to come, but I really feel grateful for the 'unknown'. and the chance, of at least feeling like that my future and everything I want to achieve in my life before me is within reach if i work really, really hard. and that's what I do, what I hope to continue doing, as long as i can get some dang rest and not fall ill (pray for me) i am also about to start developing my 'thesis' for my degree project at school, and alssso juggling a few other things that are secret at the moment. always so happy to have you, thank you for sticking with us and allowing me to bring you along our journeys. my life would certainly be so different without this community, and i cant wait to tell you more of what's next. :-) i really wanna chat more, but i think this is one of those times i just need to tell myself- you've done enough, maybe take a step back, breathe, take some silence, feel a little lazy or slow, and just be with yourself. or else i may just drive myself crazy on negative thoughts and paths i dont want to go down. im really grateful for this trip my mom took us on, and i'm sad, or have been sad, that my dad (stepdad) isn't able to join us on adventures. trips like these are wonderful highlights of travel, and also a reminder that is painful for me to think about. i haven't talked too much about it, but my dad has been going through chemo again due to returning tumors, and we are all being as positive and productive as we can. i want to live as fully as possible, for myself, for him, and for those who unfairly do not get the same blessings and chances at life. talk soon. sending you my love, and happy rest of summer from me and the fam :'-) love, annabelle
