(November 2017) with working services in the Birmingham suburban area. As June 2018, they are now operated by West Midlands Railway. These electric units were built in 1992 by Hunslet, and are well known for their Gate Turn Off (GTO) Thyristor sound, which chops the power output from the motor. Enjoy!
