Traditional foods include: • sweet potato, • cassava, • roast maize, and • peanuts. Unusual foods include • Mbewa, • Abwanoni, and • Ngumbi. Traditional sweet snacks include: • Mandasi and • Zitimbuwa. And on the roadside, you will frequently find: • Chips aka chiwaya, • Meats and chicken, I would only try the roadside food *at your own risk*.
