Rush Hour at Stratford (London) | Wednesday 22nd June 2016

*This video is property of Christopher Baverstock!* One of many of my favourite locations is Stratford (London) on the Greater Anglia line between London Liverpool Street and Romford. For my next visit to Stratford I wanted to see what it's like being there in the rush hour mayhem and feel the experience. I have to say it was interestingly busy with both the trains and the commuters. I was at Stratford and filmed between 1545-1820 which was most of the evening rush, with most trains after 1630 forming either 8 or 12 car formations. In this video we see: Greater Anglia: 321 (including 321 448), 360 and 90/82. All heading for Norwich, Southend, Ipswich, Colchester, Southminster and London TfL Rail: 315. Heading for Shenfield, Gidea Park and London London Overground: 378. Heading for Richmond and Clapham Junction As well as many passenger units, a few freight trains were also captured: Freightliner: 66 DRS: 66 Network Rail (37 057 & 37 254) Stratford is a busy and interesting location and I definitely recommend those not been to go there!
