Tesla FSD 13.2.9 Auckland Inner City/CBD, New Zealand

Driving to and around the Auckland inner city and CBD. Not easy roads to drive on with them being tight, full of construction, and poorly marked. Overall very impressed, but there is still a lot of work to be done! 00:00 Start 10:50 Gets in the correct lane a bit late, but makes it 11:25 Motorway merge 18:43 Slightly awkward motorway merge from ending lane 29:30 Start of a few very awkward minutes where it keeps stopping and starting the left indicator to change lanes, but fails to change lanes multiple times, really confusing other drivers 32:05 Gets into the exit lane right at the last possible second 32:40 Start of city driving 38:07 Gets into the bus lane at the correct 50 meter mark for a turn 42:23 Politely lets car out of driveway 42:55 Moves around right turning traffic by correctly using bus lane 50m from its end. 44:30 Intervention: Tries to get around car, then cut back in front of it 45:15 Intervention: Gets stuck at the start of roadworks cones 45:35 Doesn't perform a full stop at stop with only road markings 48:55 Accelerator press. Stopped short of destination. 50:10 Trying to pull out of parking space with poor visibility, fails and doesn't turn wheel enough 55:09 Stops a bit past the stop sign line. Maybe to get better visibility? 1:00:10 Honked at for not moving fast enough through intersection with large truck blocking intersection during a green 1:02:48 Gets into a right turn only lane when needing to go straight. Eventually figures it out and moves to the left lane. 1:05:15 Intervention: Tries to turn right at red right arrow. Perhaps confused by truck blocking lights momentarily? 1:09:15 Crosses busy road with limited visibility just fine 1:10:40 Nice maneouvre around truck sticking out 1:11:39 Start of narrow road test 1:15:45 Good job pulling out of intersection with limited visibility 1:17:10 Good job waiting to enter blocked intersection 1:17:20 Gets into right turn only lane, but illegally proceeds straight following navigation 1:18:15 Runs yellow I think it should have stopped for 1:22:40 Again gets into a right turn only lane when it needs to go straight. Eventually figures it out and goes around. 1:25:40 Good job not blocking pedestrian crossing 1:29:20 Accelerator boost. Getting out of intersection very slow with cars behind getting stuck in intersection. 1:34:35 Queen Street 1:38:40 Intervention: Wants to drive in bus lane 1:45:13 Runs yellow that I think it could have stopped for near unmarked police car 1:49:25 Tries to turn left when nav says go straight, confuses truck behind who goes around us, then FSD pulls back into the straight. A bit dangerous. 1:50:20 Good slowdowns for jay walkers 1:50:50 Poorly handles left turn into small street. Doesn't indicate left, and blocks pedestrians who give a WTF face. 1:52:30 Politely lets vehicle out 1:54:05 Intervention: Goes horribly crazy trying to turn left when nav says go straight. Pretty much tries to drive straight into pedestrians waiting on the curb. 1:58:19 Smoothly goes around truck sticking out on the road 2:00:11 Interventions: Keeps trying to get into the bus lane too early 2:01:38 Misses right turn 2:07:00 Probably should have waited here for the intersection to clear. Blocks intersection briefly when lights change. 2:08:55 Politely lets pedestrians cross at courtesy crossing 2:08:41 Gets a little confused by confusing lanes and bad markings, but figures it out 2:21:35 Intervention: Gets into left turn only lane when it needs to turn right. Manually move it over. 2:22:15 Intervention: Bad interaction with bus. FSD probably should have let the bus pull out. Then I had to intervene and block bus to avoid driving in the bus lane illegally with CCTV bus fine cameras around. Bus honks and gives us the middle finger. I think this mistake could be forgiven though due to terrible road design. The road has no indication that it suddenly turns into a bus lane. I also assumed we could go straight in the current lane, but when the car in front changed lanes, it suddenly revealed that the road immediately changes into a bus lane only, which is illegal for me to drive in and will result in a fine from bus lane cameras. Like me, FSD probably thought it could continue straight in the right lane and get out of the buses way quickly. 2:30:56 Politely lets pedestrians cross on Queen st 2:35:40 Briefly thinks about driving on the wrong side of the road 2:35:55 Intervention: Tries to get into this bus lane again, and keeps trying again and again while waiting at the lights.
