TRANSFER TO TRI RAIL: Tri Rail is a commuter train that travels between Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. Transfer to Tri Rail at Government Center (23:38), Historic Overtown/Lyric Theatre Station (25:03) or Tri Rail Station (44:15) TRANSFER TO BRIGHTLINE: Brightline is an intercity railway that travels between Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach and Orlando. Transfer to Brightline at Historic Overtown/Lyric Theatre Station (25:03) TRANSFER TO MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (MIA): Exit Earlington Heights Station (35:09) and transfer to Orange Line to MIA Airport OPINION: Miami Metrorail is great (and full of potential) but the weekend and holiday frequency is existence. During the weekends and holidays, train runs every 30 minutes. It is discouraging to take the Metrorail. Miami-Dade County Transit needs to restore the Orange Line service back.
