While Russia was celebrating Victory Day, Alfis, a former employee of the ritual service from Tatarstan, was purposefully going into captivity. He is one of the few prisoners who joined the Russian army back in 2022. He managed to survive until 2026 because he had an incomplete education as a veterinarian and agreed to work as a medic for the Russian infantry, and also escaped to the North Caucasus twice. However, the fate of a soldier in the Russian army has two endings: "200" or captivity. Alfis was lucky, and he remained alive.
