Peace be upon you, my brothers and sisters, Our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), sent as a mercy to all creation, became a light for humanity lost in darkness. With his birth, the days of oppression in the Age of Ignorance began to end. Mecca, a city where idolatry and injustice reigned, was transformed into an atmosphere of mercy with his arrival. Born an orphan, our Prophet (peace be upon him) attracted attention from a young age with his superior character, trustworthiness, and compassion. His father, Abdullah, had passed away before his birth. He grew up under the care of his grandfather, Abdulmuttalib, and his mother, Hazrat Amina. The miracles at his birth heralded that he was the awaited last prophet. The attempt by Abraha's army to destroy the Kaaba was thwarted by the flocks of Ababil birds sent by Allah, thus signaling the protection of the Kaaba and the approach of a great event. Our Prophet (peace be upon him) was sent to save humanity from oppression, injustice, and polytheism. He was the prophet of love and compassion; a mercy that made the deserts green and conquered hearts. His love has remained fresh for 1400 years, bringing peace to hearts whenever his name is mentioned. In this blessed month of Ramadan, we will continue to tell the story of his life, his morals, and his wise words. Because to know him is to know the greatest mercy that has ever come to the world.
