Callahuanca is the destination we're heading to for another chapter of Aventúrate. It's located in the Lima province of Huarochirí. A very welcoming place known for the bounty of its land, its friendly people, and its pleasant climate (dry and warm) almost every day of the year. It's known for its fruit cultivation, especially cherimoyas. It also has an archaeological site and an ecological tourism center called Piedra Huaca, where there are animal-shaped rocks (we're not heading to this destination exclusively on this occasion). Its gastronomy stands out, with various dishes such as grilled trout, fried guinea pig, pork rinds, and beef head broth.
