If you're traveling in southern Albania, a visit to the Blue Eye is a must. Syri i Kaltër, or the "Blue Eye," is an impressive spring where water gushes out under high pressure. Due to its oval shape and the color of the water—deep blue in the center and light blue at the sides—it resembles a human eye. The spring is located in a nature reserve near the SH99 national road.
