青ガエル、昔の姿に若ガエル 東急初代５０００系復元
The Tokyu Corporation 5000 Series (first generation), known affectionately as the "Blue Frog," has been restored to its former glory. The Japan Transport Engineering Company (Kanazawa Ward, Yokohama) restored the exterior of one of the cars for the purpose of passing on technology. It was unveiled to the press on the 27th. The car was designed independently by the company's predecessor, Tokyu Car Corporation, and manufactured from 1954. It served on the Tokyu Toyoko Line and other lines. While its rounded, charming appearance may be impressive, it was packed with the latest technology of the time.
