A trip to Lajares, Fuerteventura - the market, shops, restaurants and bars. We check out the Saturday Craft market in Lajares or to give it its official name Mercado Artesanal de Los Lajares, which takes place every Saturday from 10am till 2pm in the main square (Pueblo Square - Plaza de Los Lajares) and has around 50 stalls selling locally hand-made goods. It’s a lovely event and well worth a visit. There is also live music until around 1pm Then I walk through the rest of the Lajares main street - Calle Coronel Gonzalez del Yerro and look at some of the lovely shops and also the bars and restaurants.
