This is for sure one of the first moments in the story that not only made me fall in love with the one piece manga, but especially with Zoro as a character. Zoro vs Mihawk is without any doubt the first fight in the series that has a seriously shocking and impactful vibe in the series and sets up the overarching character arc for Zoro. This includes Zoro being trained by Mihawk and slowly coming closer to his level. The way Zoro accepts his defeat in this scene is epic and one of the best zoro moments. The scene is especially good at dialogue and we will be looking at all narrative elements in depth here.
