48 Hours in Makati: Fat Seed, Papa Kape, Sansho, and Celebrating Mom

I went to Makati last July 4–5, 2026 to celebrate my mom's birthday! Aside from that, I was also excited to finally be back and eat chicken wings at Fat Seed Cafe + Roastery. I swear, they have some of the best chicken wings around. Since I was already in Manila, I dropped by SM Makati for a swatch party at MAC, and my wallet definitely wasn't happy after I walked out with new lippies. My sister and I also tried Sansho, a modern Asian cuisine restaurant, and their Butter Noodles were so good. I also treated my mom to Milky Way Cafe in Makati. It was really good, and she pointed out that their Sinigang is made from real sampaloc, which is why it tastes so clean. We also squeezed in a morning jog around Ayala with my sister. Being in Makati for a few days was so much fun, it's such a lively city, and I can't wait to go back. For now, I'm heading back to the province to enjoy some quiet life.
