Dodge Challenger Sound Upgrade For Under $600

Don't spend $2,000 on the premium sound option for the Challenger. Watch as a few simple changes will greatly improve the sound quality in your Challenger for under $600. I upgrade the base 6 speaker Alpine sound system in a 2020 Dodge Challenger. Just replacing the two dash speakers with Infiniti Reference 3032 3.5" speakers (or any 3.5" speaker of your choice) and adding a quality 10" sub (I recommend going for at least a 10" or 12" sub) made a significant improvement in the sound. I reused some parts from previous sound builds, but if you were to buy everything brand new you could buy some decent quality parts for under $600. Below is a breakdown of my expenses for this build: 3.5" speakers - $50 Subwoofer - $150 Amplifier - $150 Amplifier wiring - $50 Subwoofer enclosure - $50 Line out converter (optional if your amp doesn't have it built in) - $100 Total: $550 I also give a quick overview of the different sound systems available for the Challenger Scat Pack. In my opinion, I would stick with the base system and upgrade it yourself, rather than spending the $1,000-2,000 for either of the upgraded Alpine or Harman Kardon systems. Going aftermarket will sound better and most likely come out ahead cost wise. I recommend this as a good DIY project if you have some basic wrenching and electrical skills.
