Squirrel's Behaving Badly ( Feature Length )

I had a wonderful morning filming the squirrel's today. The threat of rain had eased & the wind was fairly light. I hope you feel like i do, that the constant action that our friend's are providing is as good as a classic Clint Eastwood western. Unfortunately, the end with the lovely visit of a woodpecker right in front of the camera was totally ruined by a rat trying to attack it. It is important for viewer's to understand that this is a regular problem at this particular spot. I try to scare them away & edit out their presence, but there is a waterway behind the bushes. The rat's are hunting for the nut's the squirrel's have buried, & while doing so they regularly attack the squirrel's. I believe that the number of squirrel's with docked tails ( there was a new young squirrel today with a damaged tail ) is because they have been attacked & bitten by the rat's.
