This time we visited Shirakawa-go and Gero Onsen in Gifu Prefecture! ☺️ First, we explored the World Heritage Site, Shirakawa-go! We crossed Deai Bridge to reach the village of traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses. There were so many highlights, including the stunning view from Ogimachi Castle Ruins Observatory and the Wada House, a designated Important Cultural Property! Then we headed to Gero Onsen, one of Japan's Three Famous Hot Springs! ♨️ We stayed at Yunoshimakan, a long-established ryokan founded in 1931!
