Rocky Horror Picture Show Filming Locations in Windsor, England

Today we are in Windsor, England to visit Oakley Court, the posh hotel that was once used as a filming location in the 1975 cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show. Oakley Court was constructed in 1859 for Sir Richard Hall Say. During filming of Rocky Horror Picture Show, the castle, conveniently located next to Bray Studios, the abandoned home in disrepair was used as Dr Frankenfurter's castle. Not only were exterior shots used in the film, but many scenes were also filmed inside. Additional scenes were filmed at Bray Studios, which was previously Hammer Studios. Many classic Hammer horror films were shot at the studios (and some in Oakley Court) in the 50s and 60s. Today Oakley Court is a very fancy hotel. You can stay in the room where we first see Riff Raff in the window Dr. Frankenfurter's castle - but it will cost you £550/night.
