Cheddar Gorge Caves – Worth the Money? | Campervan Trip & Campsite Review

In this week’s family campervan adventure, we head to Cheddar Gorge in Somerset in our VW T6 Transporter campervan conversion. We explore the stunning scenery, drive through the dramatic gorge, and visit the pretty town of Cheddar, where we sample local Cheddar cheese and Somerset cider 🍎🧀. Next, we visit the famous Cheddar Caves, one of the UK’s most popular natural tourist attractions. With rising ticket prices, we share our honest opinions on whether the Cheddar Gorge caves are really worth the money — especially for families. After exploring the caves, we stay overnight at the Cheddar Caravan & Motorhome Club Site. We show you around the campsite, our pitch setup, and how we manage as a family of four campervanning in winter in our VW campervan. As always, we give our honest campsite review, covering facilities, location, value for money, and whether we’d stay again. Plus… we attempt to make cocktails in the campervan 🍹 (with mixed results!). If you’re planning a campervan trip to Cheddar Gorge, wondering if the caves are worth visiting, or looking for a real review of the Cheddar Caravan & Motorhome Club site, this video is for you.
