When I first started capsule wardrobing, I had several ideas about what a capsule wardrobe “should” look like, what kind of style it needed to be, or what kind of lifestyle I needed to leave. As a result, I decluttered so many beautiful colorful things. I thought my capsule wardrobe had to be full of neutrals, had to look minimalist, and had to be “timeless.” Over the years, I’ve learned that having a capsule wardrobe is so much more about finding your personal style, cultivating it, and sharing it with the outside world.
