Allegations and concerns regarding the conduct of Sierra Leone's elections. The decision to elevate President Julius Maada Bio to the Chairmanship of ECOWAS despite ongoing public debate surrounding these matters. For years, many Sierra Leoneans have appealed to ECOWAS to play a more active role in promoting democratic accountability and restoring public confidence in the country's electoral process. We believe these concerns should not be ignored. We remain steadfast in our support for Dr. Samura Kamara and the democratic aspirations of those who believe their voices must be heard.
