ROBIN GIBB Prebendal House Thame Oxfordshire
Robin Gibb had just filmed a concert in Germany & I was asked to shoot interviews at his house, "The Prebendal" in Thame, Oxfordshire. He was very pleasant & spent the afternoon showing us round the house, chapel & gardens, telling us all the different history of the building & past residents. The house was once a monastery where the Bishops decided Joan of Arc's fate; and Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn stayed here in 1533. I walked around the Chapel which had walls covered with Bee Gee's discs & said to Robin that it was a pretty impressive collection: He replied 'You should see the house in Miami'.
