We are back at Adapt Fitness in Dallas, Texas, and we are growing. Hitting a really good rhythm here, and all we are focusing on is the "Goldilocks" approach. Not too heavy, not too light; we choose the heaviest weight we can use without losing a high level of stimulus and connection to the muscle. My plan is to take a step back and make sure every single rep is targeting the intended muscle and taking that muscle to failure as much as possible. When it comes to bodybuilding, first we assess the individual's overall needs to create the proper shape or X-frame, as John Jewett commonly refers to. The width of the clavicle, shoulders, lats contrasting the natural taper down to a narrow waist... only to sweep back out to wide quads, adductors and separated hamstrings, peeled glutes and so on. In this video, I explain the way I choose exercises, how to intricately perform them toward your goal, and arrange them in the training session, and the unique benefits they offer that give them a place in a well-structured program.
