Sometimes a painting arrives before a thought. This 8x8 neo-expressionist paint pen piece on watercolor paper wasn't planned. There was no sketch, no concept, and no destination. I walked into the studio and started making marks. The circles, grids, scratches, and layers appeared one after another until the piece felt complete. Looking back at it now, I still don't know exactly what it means—and maybe that's the point. This video contains no music, narration, or distractions. Just the process of creating.
