This documentary tells the true story of my escape from Ukraine after being forcibly mobilized. After escaping from a military training camp, I began my second attempt to leave Ukraine. But nothing went according to plan. My partner started acting strangely, and soon drones, police, and border guards were searching for me. In this episode, I explain how I prepared for my second escape attempt, searched for a new partner, bought equipment, wiped my phone before leaving, and headed toward the border once again. On the way, something happened that I never expected. My partner sent me a coded message, and I realized he had been detained. Later that night, drones circled above the forest, and I became convinced they were searching for me. After spending the night in the forest, I ran out of both food and water. I became trapped in a swamp, soaked my legs almost to my knees, the temperature dropped to about –2°C (28°F), and my clothes froze. When I realized I could no longer get out on my own, I called 112 and asked for help. Some time later, I was found by the police and handed over to the border guards. After being rescued, I was questioned, processed, and faced a new series of events that I describe in this episode.
