BEING A CNA while in nursing school is an interesting experience. You're some where in between knowing a lot and not knowing the behind the scenes of nursing. My extensive experience as a CNA has tremendously helped me with patient interaction and scenarios. Being in healthcare while learning about nursing content is very helpful with connecting the concepts. The CNA life and experience is a lot of hard work, and I have a greater respect for those who assist the patients on an intimate and personal level. Nursing school requires a lot of adaptability, and being a CNA has taught me a lot of the fundamental skills of nursing. I hope you all enjoyed the video.
