Our Dad's Legacy 25 Acres...And A Chance To Start Again
Welcome to MonteCima Ranch—this is more than land. This is legacy. In this video, we’re sharing the heart behind our 25 acres in Southern California… and the story that made it mean so much more. At first glance, this land drew us in with its beauty—the rolling hills, the oak trees, the rock formations, and the quiet that makes you feel like you can finally breathe. But what we didn’t realize at the time… was just how deeply personal this journey would become. This story begins long before we ever stepped foot on this property. It begins with my dad. A man who lived with strength, humility, and a deep love for his family. From serving in the Army during the Korean War, to building a life alongside my mom, he showed us what it meant to work hard, stay grounded, and find joy in the simple things. He was the kind of person who didn’t just talk about values—he lived them every day. I always imagined a place where my parents could grow older together… somewhere peaceful, surrounded by nature, with space to rest and simply enjoy the life they built. But life had other plans. After my mom passed, my dad followed almost six years later. And just like that, the home that held so many memories—the laughter, the milestones, even the marks on the wall tracking our heights—was gone. Packed up, sold, and left behind. But not forgotten. This land… MonteCima Ranch… became a way to carry that story forward. A way to honor where we come from while building something new for the future. Today, we’re slowly transforming these 25 acres into a place rooted in family, intention, and connection. We’re planting a garden, caring for over 100 olive trees, and creating a space where people can gather, rest, and reconnect—with God, nature and with each other. This hasn’t been an easy journey. It’s required more than we expected. But it’s also given us something we couldn’t have imagined—a renewed sense of purpose. This is our dad’s legacy. This is our chance to start again. If you’ve ever dreamed of building something meaningful, owning land, or creating a life that feels more connected and intentional—we’re so glad you’re here. Follow along as we continue building MonteCima Ranch. ⸻ #MonteCimaRanch #FamilyLegacy #BuildingOurDream #RanchLife #HomesteadJourney #LandToLegacy #SouthernCaliforniaLiving #OliveTrees #CountryLiving #StartAgain
