Do Now [English]

An important part of teaching is setting learners up for success by having a strong start to the lesson. A DO NOW is a Short, individual focus activity that is done before the lesson starts (as part of the Entry Routine!). It is based on the upcoming lesson, so learners start thinking about the lesson content straight away. When learners are mentally prepared for a lesson they are more likely to participate and work hard.
