Alex Pereira participated in a training session in Dubai alongside Gokhan Saki, focusing on the renowned Hemmers Dutch Kickboxing techniques in February 2024. Gokhan Saki, who trained under the tutelage of Cor Hemmers during the Golden Glory era, rose to prominence as a superstar in the sport. Nick Hemmers and his contingent were present in Dubai for the Alpha Fight Series event held on February 16, 2024. Five fighters from Hemmers Gym showcased their skills at the AFS Event, competing in Australia versus the world matchups. The team comprised Mohamed Dadouch (Heavyweight), Bruno Chaves (Heavyweight), Haris Biber (Welterweight), Ahmad Chick Mousa (Lightweight), and Samir Boukhidous (Middleweight), all emerging victorious in their respective bouts. Nick Hemmers orchestrated an exceptional training session, welcoming esteemed fighters such as Marat Grigorian, Filip Verlinden, Errol Zimmerman, and the seasoned Gokhan Saki from Hemmers Gym, along with UFC Champion Alex Pereira from Brazil and Rangel Farias. This gathering of MMA and Kickboxing legends on the mat made for a unique experience, reminiscent of the legendary Ramon Dekkers. Leading the session with expertise and enthusiasm, Nick Hemmers, the younger brother of Ramon Dekkers and son of Cor Hemmers, ensured a professional and engaging atmosphere.
