Vibroplex Colors and the New Beige Bug
In this video we explore a little Vibroplex history - looking at many of the different colors / finishes that Vibroplex has used over the years. I'm missing a few, such as the early Cobalt Blue Vibroplex No. 4, the 1920's Western Union Maroon, Battleship Gray, and some of the late model bugs such as the gold plated or modern red. I was able to add a Beige Vibroplex Original from 1979 to my collection, and along with getting it cleaned up and ready to use...showed off other bugs with Black Japan, Blue Enamel, Red Enamel, Two-Toned Green Enamel and Black Japan, White Epoxy, Nickel/Chrome plated, Black Crinkle, Gray Crinkle, and the Presentation dressing. A few words to help with searches: CW, Morse Code, Ham Radio, HF Radio, Bug, Semi-automatic Key, Code Key, Morse Key, Hand Key, Telegraphy, Telegraph Key, SKCC, Straight Key Century Club.
